Our busy friendly Housekeeping Team would love to hear from anyone who can assist them with this important role of looking after the hospice’s laundry for our patient services, including our catering service.  Full training provided.

What's involved?

• Collection of laundry within the Hospice;
• Washing and drying laundry which includes: all mops, cloths, towels and blankets, slide sheets and hoist slings and tea towels;
• Check 2 x linen cupboards on IPU;
• Top up with sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers and towels;
• Count and record (in diary);
• Checking detergent levels and replenish;
• Accurately count and record the number of towels.
