Tea & Talk at Toby's
The group is for people living with cancer, but also their partners, friends, relatives and carers. We know they need just as much support as the person who has received a diagnosis. Many in the group are survivors of the life-limiting illness.
Now into its third year, the get-together is run by staff and volunteers from our OrangeLine service. You can expect to find between 20-25 people there of all ages and from all different walks of life. It's a friendly group where we encourage people to support one another but not to talk solely about cancer.
The social outing helps people make new connections, start new friendships, and receive guidance and information from professionals and guest speakers. It's also a great comfort to anyone who is feeling lonely, isolated, or in need of friendly conversation.
Tea & Talk takes take place at Toby Carvery in Brentwood on the first Monday of every month (excluding bank holidays). Parking and refreshments are free. Thanks to Toby Carvery for continuing to make this possible.
