Our supporters go orange this July
Our annual Go Orange campaign is back and we’re calling on our local community to fundraise in any way and on any day this July.
There are so many ways you can Go Orange such as wearing our brand colour orange for the day with your friends and family, hosting a party or organising a bake sale.
Go orange and make a real difference
Thanks to our supporters, we were able to care for 2,092 people and their families last year.
People like Mark who was cared for on our ward in 2022. We were there to look after his wife Emily and their two children and to help them to cope with their loss.
People like Ann who was struggling at home before being admitted to the ward. Her son Ryan told us how the care team gave his mum back her quality of life.
Demand for our compassionate palliative and end of life services is growing. By fundraising for Saint Francis Hospice, you are helping our experienced teams to car e and support people at the hospice, in their homes or in the community.
There are still so many misconceptions about hospice care and many people who are not aware of the wide range of services we provide. By Going Orange, you are helping to spread the message that Saint Francis Hospice is here to care for people will any illness which cannot be cured such as cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, motor neurone disease, heart and kidney failure, and many more.
Portville United Football Team went orange - could you follow in their footsteps?
Last year, Frankie Williams and his team, Portville United, backed our Go Orange campaign by hosting a charity football match for Saint Francis Hospice. More than 200 people come along to watch and the event raised an incredible £ 11,661.29.
This year we’re thrilled to see lots of schools and organisations are signing up to be part of this exciting campaign again.
